Does a 2008 street glide need your mounting bracket kit to install this headlight

I purchased this headlight for the Halo. The Halo doesn't light up at all. The package didn't come with instructions. It's described as plug and play. Is there another way to hook it up so the Halo works?
Hi William Kudlik, Please connect the two halo wireS (extra wires outside the 3pins H4 PLUG) to Positive. Then the halo will lit.
